Departments Neurology MEDICAL NEUROLOGY AVAILABLE AT CARE!! We are pleased to announce that Shirley Shelton, DVM, PhD, DACVIM is joining the CARE Center. Dr. Shelton is a board-certified veterinary neurologist who focuses on diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junction, and muscles. She provides diagnostic testing for clients and referring veterinarians to accurately identify and treat neurological diseases. Various tests available include, but are not limited to: Blood analyses (e.g., infectious disease titers, anticonvulsant levels, acetylcholine receptor antibody titer) Muscle and nerve biopsy CSF analysis Imaging of the brain (CT, MRI) Imaging of the spine (myelography, CT, MRI) Dr. Shelton will be available, beginning June 21st, to see patients Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
