Dr. Peruski is originally from Canton, Michigan. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2005. Following graduation, she relocated to the Ohio State University and became a Buckeye! There she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery (2006) and served as a clinical instructor in shelter medicine and critical care (2007). Dr. Peruski then completed a three year residency program in Emergency and Critical Care at OSU, and became board-certified in 2010. Dr. Peruski is interested in all aspects of critical care, especially shock, bleeding disorders, and mechanical ventilation. She has a special interest in transfusion medicine and helped develop the Care Center Animal Blood Bank.
