Crystal was born and raised in Texas. She obtained both her BS and DVM from Texas A&M University. A 1 year emergency/critical care internship took her to San Diego, California. She then moved to Los Angeles to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at California Animal Hospital Veterinary Specialty Group. Dr. Doyle has a special interest in ultrasonography as well as kidney disease, endocrinology, and liver diseases. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, live music, art exhibits, visiting family back home, and almost anything outdoors. She has an American Bulldog, Lux, and a cat, Coaltrain, that will be seeing snow for the first time when they move to Cincinnati with her this year. Dr. Doyle is very excited to be joining the CARE team's Internal Medicine department and will be seeing cases Tuesday-Fridays.
Beth is another Cincinnati native, born and raised in Clifton. She attended Walnut Hills High School before obtaining both her BS and DVM from Ohio State University. She then moved to South Florida to do her internship at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida. She spent the following three years completeing a residency in Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State Universty. She is happy to be living in Cincinnati again!
Dr. Erick Mears has been treating hyperthyroid cats since 1993 and is one of just two doctors who travel the country for the specialty. He is the only such doctor, who is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Mears has treated more than 2,000 patients with Radioiodine I-131. His I-CAT Feline Thyroid Treatment Centers can be found throughout the United States, including the CARE Center in Cincinnati. Dr. Mears received his Bachelors of Science from Stanford University in 1988. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He completed his post-DVM education at the University of Tennessee with small animal internship, internal medicine residency and Associate Professor in 1997.
