Dr. Jennifer Hofer received her B.S. in Animal Biology from the
University of Florida and a M.S. in Laboratory Animal Science from
Drexel University. She returned to UF and completed her veterinary
degree in 2006. After school, she completed a small animal medicine and
surgery internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Coral Springs,
FL. She stayed for an additional oncology and emergency medicine
internship before moving to North Carolina to complete an oncology
internship at North Carolina State University. She completed a 2 year
Oncology residency in 2011 and will sit for the certifying examination
in June 2012. Dr. Hofer and her husband have 4 dogs (Katy, Shamu,
Sarah, and Shep), 3 cats (Crickit, Bella, and Jesse), and 2 tortoises
(T-bone and Munchy).
