Kathy Wright, DVM, DACVIM

Kathy is one of a handful of veterinary specialists in the U.S. and Canada to be board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology. She has served as Assistant Professor, Cardiology at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati since 1998, where she develops new approaches to treating and preventing arrhythmias and congenital heart disease in animals and children. Dr. Wright is the only veterinarian in the U.S. and Canada routinely performing radiofrequency catheter ablations to cure arrhythmia problems. A native of Cincinnati, Kathy received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1991 and went on to complete asn internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State University in 1992 and a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Tennessee in 1995. She finished her cardiology residency at The Ohio State University in 1997.
